10 FACTS YOU NEVER KNEW ABOUT AARON RAMSEY



I believe if you watched the FA cup finals then one common fact you may likely know about Aaron Ramsey is, he was the man of the match not just because he scored the winning goal but throughout the 120 minutes he delivered. But besides that I believe there are other facts you have no idea about the gunners gun. Below is the list of ten unknown facts about the goal poacher;

1.     Despite being the man of He can defend, he can attack, he can score goals. “What more do you want?” Is a question asked by Arsene Wenger. The Arsenal Manager described the Box to Box midfielder as a "complete midfielder".  

2.     He was born on the day after Christmas on 26th December 1990, and is 23 years old now.

3.     Aaron joined Arsenal in 2008 in a £5 million deal, where he rapidly acquired first team experience. On the other hand, his career delayed significantly after he suffered a broken leg in a match against Stoke City in February 2010.



4.     Apart from playing for Wales in international competitions, he was chosen to compete at the 2012 Olympic Football Tournament for the British squad as one of five Welsh players.

5.     Ex- Wales’s team manager Gary Speed appointed Ramsey as permanent captain of Wales and he played his first match as a skipper against England on 26 March 2011. It made him the youngest ever Wales captain at the age of 20 years 90 days, thrashing the record set by Mike England in 1964. 

6.     He scored his first goal as captain in Wales' final Nations Cup match against Northern Ireland on 27 May 2011.

7.     In October 2012 he lost the arm band to Ashley Williams after a run of defeats; however the national Team manager Chris Coleman said Ramsey still has the ability of captaining the national team again but that would be later in his career. 

8.     He was named as one of the six players on the shortlist for the PFA Young Player of the Year award On 18 April.

10.  Following two loan spells away from Arsenal, he came back to full physical and mental fitness and re-established himself as a key player for Arsenal in the 2013–14 campaign, scoring 16 goals in all competitions including the extra-time winner in the 2014 FA Cup Final as everyone knows though.
